Empowering Digital Education: The 3rd Intermediate Digital Literacy Workshop for IDEAL Project Teachers
The IDEAL project recently hosted its 3rd Intermediate Digital Literacy Workshop at Chatumouk Lower Secondary School, equipping teachers from six target schools with essential digital skills like Canva, Google Drive, and smartphone multimedia production. Facilitated by KAPE, this initiative empowers educators to beautifully document student achievements, STEM projects, and school progress. By mastering these digital storytelling tools, teachers can now foster greater transparency, effectively sharing educational milestones and enhancing community engagement.
The Improving Digital Education for All Learners (IDEAL) project successfully organized its 3rd Intermediate Digital Literacy Workshop at Chatumouk Lower Secondary School, bringing together dedicated teachers from six target schools. The IDEAL project has taken a fruitful step forward in equipping teachers with essential multi-functional digital skills, including the effective use of Canva, Google Drive, WordClouds, as well as smartphone photography and video production. Initiated to elevate specialized capacity, this program was expertly facilitated by technical officers from KAPE. Throughout the vibrant workshop sessions, participants explored the fundamental principles of framing, smartphone camera techniques, and cinematic video sequencing, proving that powerful storytelling is easily achievable right from their own hands. Educators engaged in hands-on practice, mastering camera angles, composition, and lighting to truly reflect the reality of their educational environments. This digital literacy initiative ensures that every milestone achieved under the IDEAL project will be beautifully preserved, celebrated, and shared with the wider world, creating an impactful archive of academic success and positive community influence.
