Handover Ceremony of Computer Room and Equipment to Promote Digital Education at Tang Krasang Lower Secondary School

On September 12, 2025, a ceremony was held to hand over a newly renovated computer room and technological equipment to Tang Krasang Lower Secondary School, located in Tuk Phos District, Kampong Chhnang Province [01:18].

The total donation is valued at $11,731 USD [01:29]. It was provided under a project focused on enhancing employment skills and effective migration for Cambodian youth, funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) through CARE International, and implemented by Kampuchean Action for Primary Education (KAPE) [01:29, 07:35]. The school received 25 desktop computers for students, 1 laptop for teachers, a Wi-Fi controller, essential furniture, and interior room renovations [02:58, 03:57].

Presided over by Mr. Sok Sonthy, Deputy Governor of Tuk Phos District, the initiative directly supports the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport's 2024–2028 strategic plan for digital education [01:58, 02:32]. The project aims to bridge the rural digital divide and equip students with 21st-century skills, transforming human resources into capable human capital for national development [03:27, 05:24]. A mutual agreement was signed between KAPE and the school to ensure proper maintenance and integration of computer classes into the daily curriculum [06:15].
