Accelerating Skills Acquisition in Visual Technology (DViTSA/Game Tech Program)
The video introduces the Digital Visualization Technology Skill Accelerator Program (DITZA), also known as Game Tech. This new initiative was launched by KAPE in alignment with the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport's New Generation School (NGS) reforms in Cambodia.
The Program: It features a comprehensive 100 to 132-hour secondary school curriculum focused on teaching practical, high-tech skills like 3D design, animation, and game development [01:07]. Special digital labs have been installed in four target NGS schools, and nine teachers have completed intensive training to lead the classes [01:36].
Student Experience: Nang Dara, a grade 11 student from Preah Sisowath High School, shares his excitement about learning Blender 3D [01:56]. He explains how the program allows him to bring his imagination to life by creating realistic 3D shapes, using lighting, and building "dream worlds" on screen [02:56].
Impact & Goals: The program has sparked massive student engagement, with participants often choosing to skip breaks just to finish their projects [05:01]. The project organizers aim to expand this digital technology curriculum to more schools to prepare the next generation for a brighter digital future [05:38].
